Jack E. Valentine, 80, of Willard, passed away late Friday evening, April 28, 2023, at Blossom Healthcare in Willard.

Jack was born on November 25, 1942, in Ashland, OH to the late Carrie (Layfield) and James Valentine. He raised his family in Berlin Heights before moving to Willard. Jack was a truck driver until 1977. He was later employed at Goodwill Industries and was always doing odds and ends to help others. Jack had a passion for farming and helping his son, Travis, working on engines especially. He was an animal lover and enjoyed taking care of the pets he had throughout his life. Jack enjoyed puzzles, coloring, and playing with his granddaughter.

Jack is survived by three sons, Travis (Dottie) Valentine, Keith Valentine, Stephen Valentine, and many grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Shirley Valentine; 2 brothers and a sister.

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023, from 4 pm to 7 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857.
