Jacob E. Kindle, age 82, of New London died Saturday, September 1, 2007 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk, after a short illness. Mr. Kindle was born April 18, 1925 in Monroe County, Ohio. He had served in the U.S. Army during WWII in Europe in the 3rd Army. He lived in Ashland, Rochester Twp. and for the past ten years in New London. He was retired from the former Meyers Pump in Ashland. He attended the Rochester United Methodist Church and was a member of the Ashland American Legion Post #88. He is survived by his wife Evelyn. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Esther in 1992. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London with Pastor Christine Bell officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at the Rochester Cemetery with military rites.
