James Alan Miller, 67, of Norwalk, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky. He was born on September 24, 1951 in Norwalk, son of the late Harvey and Rhea (Forbes) Miller. James had worked at the former Ohio Body and CE Ward. James enjoyed many things in life, but he had an admirable innocence and appreciation for the simpler things. He loved a good hamburger, fresh fish fry, cold cherry coke, and a bag of potato chips. He was a fun uncle who entertained his nieces and nephews with fireworks displays, and himself with television, especially Star Trek or sci-fy programs. Jim is survived by his brothers, Jack (Gianna) Miller of Adelaide, South Australia and Michael (Colleen) Miller of Marion, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his beloved parents. Special Thanks to the Doctors and Staff at Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk and at Stein Hospice for their care and support. A private family memorial service will be held.
