James L. Clingan, 77, of Ruggles, died Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at his residence. He was born April 13, 1932 in Tuscumbia, AL, son of the late Oscar J. and Alice Adaline (nee Henson) Clingan. Mr. Clingan has resided in the Ruggles area since 1992.
He worked for several steel mills and retired in 1991 from North Star Steel in Milton, PA. Mr. Clingan was a former member of the Mud Fork Baptist Church in Logan, WV and attended the Ruggles Church. James was a friend to everyone, he will be deeply missed. If you knew him you loved him.
Survivors include his loving wife, Janice L. (nee Hensley); children, Ted (Linda) Clingan of Medina, James W.(Kristina) Clingan of Delaware, Louie (Teresa) Hensley of Verdonville, WV, Cheryl (Dave) Tidwell of Jackson Co, OH, and Tina Hicks of North Olmstead. He is also survived by grandchildren, Chris, Aaron, Rocksanne, Jeff, Michael, David, Darryl, Amber, Nickolas, Colby, Brandy and Tina; and 15 great grandchildren. Father-in-law, Uncle and Brother-in-law to many. James was preceded in death by children, Levoy J., Carl E., Jeff and Sandra Clingan; and 8 siblings.
