James P. Disler

James Paul Disler, 87, of Wellington, died Saturday March 7, 2026. Born in Cleveland, he was the son of the late Mahlon (Matt) and Norma Disler, and beloved husband of his late wife of 65 years, Donna (nee Wolfram).

James was born and raised in Clevland and relocated to Wellington in 1972. James was a U.S. Navy veteran who served on a destroyer. He was an avid RC model shipbuilder, enjoyed his gardening and spending time with his family and pets.

Survivors include his children, Gary (Grace) Disler, of Wellington, Shelley Disler, of New London, and Kevin Disler, of Wellington; and granddaughter, Kat A. Disler, of Wellington.
