EASTMAN FUNERAL HOME 419-929-3781 James M. Lowery, age 69, of Greenwich, died Sunday, January 18, 2015 at his home. He was born February 7, 1945 in Norwalk , son of the late John M. and Esther (Henry) Lowery. James was a lifelong Greenwich resident He was a 1963 graduate of South Central High School. James had worked at R.R. Donnelley's, Willard for over 40 years where he retired in 2009. He enjoyed 4-Wheeling, vacationing at Myrtle Beach and taking cruises with his brother and sister in law. He is survived by his children, Diana "Dee" (Wesley) Whitaker of Nova, Mike (Kathy) Lowery of Attica, Scott Lowery of Greenwich; 8 grandchildren, Abby Mullins, David and Olivia Whitaker, Christopher Lowery, Ashley Tackett, Tiffany and Makayla and Hanna Lowery; 9 great grandchildren; his siblings, Jerry (Bonnie) Lowery of Willard, Kathy (Gene) Hamlin of Norwalk; sister in law, Marcella Lowery of Greenwich, brother in law, Richard Persky; 13 nieces and nephews and special friends, Lonnie and Cathy Gilbert. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Lowery in 2011, his siblings, Marjorie Persky, Judith Runkle and John L. "Jack" Lowery, brother in law, Richard Runkle. Friends may call from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2015 and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. Thursday at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich with Pastor Bob Hudberg officiating.
