James W. Siddall of Wellington, Ohio, passed away on April 19, 2026 at the age of 82. He was an Air Force veteran, psychologist, writer, bowman, wayfarer, and naturalist – but above all, a treasured father, grandfather, partner, and friend.
James was known for his calm and thoughtful presence, his quick wit, and his gift for guiding others with insight and humor. His spirit lives on in all who loved him deeply; his “last love,” his sister, his daughters and their families, his grandchildren, and the many others whose lives he touched.
James followed his own path with quiet conviction, reflected in the words of Robert Frost:
“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.”
In honor of his love for the outdoors and his dedication to preserving natural spaces, memorial contributions may be made to a park of choice. Condolences can be given at www.norton-eastmanfuneralhome.com.
