James Ivan "Jim" Smith, 69, of Wellington, Ohio, died on January 25, 2022 at New Life Hospice in Lorain.  He was born on June 21, 1952 to the late Marian (nee Sprinkle) and Ivan Smith.  Jim was a Wellington High School graduate he spent all of his life in the local area.

A very caring man, Jim always took care of other people.  He loved antique tractors, specifically International Harvester tractors, and was a member of the local antique tractor club.

Survivors include his step mother, Elsie Smith; aunt, Mary and many cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Arthur and Richard Ivan Smith.
