James Murray Stauffer, 92, died at Good Shepherd Home on December 9th. He was born July 10, 1918 in Akron, Ohio, the son of Norman and Bessie Stauffer.
He was a 1936 graduate of Tallmadge High School and studied electrical engineering at Kent State University. He used this education to work at Goodyear Aerospace in Akron for 25 years. He served in WWII for nearly four years as a Signal Corps member of the Army.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine (Hunter) Stauffer, whom he married November 20, 1941; his children, David Allen Stauffer and Karen Stauffer of Sacramento, CA and Linda Stauffer of Sun City West, AZ. Jim's friends spoke of his ability to express love and caring for others.
