James Miller Westbrook, 75, of Mansfield, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 at MedCentral Health Systems in Mansfield. He was born July 26, 1939, in Greenwich, to the late Max and Marcella (Miller) Westbrook.
He was graduated from Greenwich High School in 1957, after high school he served in the US Army Airborne 82 Airborne Division from 1958-1962. James was a design engineer with Therm-O-Disc in Mansfield and Hi-Stat of Lexington. He was the former owner of the Hills Tavern in Mansfield from 1984-1997.
James was a member of the Mansfield American Legion.
He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Loveland of Crestline and Jamie McKinney of Mansfield; grandchildren, Chelsea (Gary Fisher) Loveland, Cody Loveland, Ariana Browning, Dakoda Addington and Robert McKinney, Jr.; great grandchildren, Aubree Fisher and Jailen Cowan; siblings, Marlene (Arnel) Blair of Greenwich and Virgil (Melba) Westbrook of Marion and many nieces and nephews.
James' family will greet friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday, June 29, 2015 at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W. Main St., Greenwich where a service will be held 11 am Tuesday with Pastor Bob Hudberg officiating. Burial with military rites will immediately follow at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery.
