James H. Wurth, 66, of Norwalk, died Saturday, April 27, 2019. Born on January 27, 1953 in Johnson City, NY, the son of the late Roland and Sara (nee Cummings) Wurth. James spent most of his life in Norwalk.

James worked for Price Sand and Gravel and then IPC. He enjoyed fishing but especially cherished time spent with his grandchildren and family.

James is survived by siblings, Cindy and Jim McCarthy, Bonnie and Ed Orrison, and Mark and Cindy Wurth, all of PA, Karen and Rick Baker and Stacy and Bob Heath, of New York, Scott and Diana Wurth, of PA, Debbie Wurth and Peter and Julie Bryant, of FL, and Amy Wurth of New York; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; Stepson, Lee and Luenda Hersha, of Greenwich, and Stepdaughters, Shirley Fulton, of Greenwich, Carol and Ronnie Brant, of Norwalk, Jeanette and James Moulton, of North Fairfield, Lynette Brant, of Willard and Kathy and Alvin Brant, of Monroeville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 1, 4-7 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk where Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday. Burial will follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Norwalk.
