Jamie Lyndsey Day, age 15, of Greenwich, died Monday, October 8, 2007 at her home after a long illness. She was born December 19, 1991 in Willard, Ohio. Jamie had lived most of her life in Greenwich. She had attended South Central High School. Jamie was a member of the South Central F.F.A. She loved animals, enjoyed soccer, track, horseback riding and basketball. Jamie had a loving and kind spirit all of her life.
She is survived by her mother, Antoinette (Shepherd) Day of Greenwich, her father, Charles 'Chip' Day of Barberton; a brother, Chase Day of Greenwich; a sister, Makhaila Day of Greenwich; her maternal grandparents, Myrtle & Eugene Shepherd of Greenwich; her paternal grandparents, Robert & June Day of Alexandria, Virginia; many aunts, uncles, cousins and several pets.
Friends may call from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2007 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday. Burial will follow at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery.
