Jane Cook, of Norwalk, Ohio passed away after an illness on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center. She was 59. She was born on August 15, 1959 to Mort and Edna (Turner) Ferguson in Mt. Sterling, KY.

Jane was "an old hippie soul" who loved her family and friends especially her mother, Edna and son, Michael and great niece McKenzie. She had a zest for life, heart of gold, and never met a stranger. Her smile could light up a room.

She is survived by her mother, Edna Turner; son, Michael Cook; sisters, Darlene (Deitzel) Blair, Peggy (Al) Wilford, Dianne (C.W.) Todd; nieces and nephews, Nikki (Ronnie) Gray, Heather Todd, Josh (fiancé Jodi Mesenburg) Wilford, Tylor Blair, Travis Todd and Taylor, Allison Dennis and Isaiah Dennis; great nieces, McKenzie Wilford and Megan Popke and step-brother, Brett (Chris) Popke.

Jane was preceded in death by her father Mort Ferguson and brother Wayne Ferguson.

Friends may call on Wednesday April 3, 2019 from 11 am until the time of the 1 pm service in Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, Interment will be in Sand Hill Cemetery in Castalia. Jane liked to have a good time and a party in her honor will be held on Wednesday evening at the Norwalk Elks Lodge beginning at 5 pm.
