Norwalk, Ohio - Janet Arlene (Andrews) April, 79, passed away on March 17, 2018, in Stein Hospice Service, Sandusky, Ohio, surrounded by her husband, and children. Janet was born to parents, Robert and Pauline (Eberhard) Andrews, February 12, 1939, who predeceased her, along with sisters, Carol Sue Weller, and Marilyn Wott. She is survived by sisters, Marjorie Morlock, and Lucy Bush, and brother, Robert Andrews, and by her loving husband, Robert April, whom she married January 1, 2010. She is also survived by her children, Randy (Patty) Schwab, of Norwalk, Ohio, Lorna (Dan) Strayer, of Norwalk, Ohio, and Brad (Laurie) Schwab, of Vermilion, Ohio, by 8 grandchildren, and 5+ great grandchildren. Janet enjoyed many years of boating on Lake Erie, and then in more recent years, traveling by car with her husband Bob, all over the continental USA. She also enjoyed spending time with her children, and grandchildren. Friends may call on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St. Norwalk, Ohio. Chaplain David Detwiler will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Janet's life.
