Janet M. (Oney) Boss, age 69, of Ashland, died Friday, August 3, 2007 at her home, after a 4 ' year battle with cancer. Mrs. Boss was born November 12, 1937 in Dayton, daughter of the late, William & Birdie (Blair) Oney. She had lived most of her life in the New London and surrounding area. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She accepted the Lord May 9, 1976 at the New London 1st Baptist Church, she was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Mansfield. She is survived by her husband, Benjamin M.; daughters, Jacqueline Marie Murray of Carrollton, OH and Veronica Sue Murray of Red Bluff, CA; sons, Benjamin Boss of Norwalk and Brian (Beatrice) Boss of Ashland;10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Pauline Flemming of Galion, Carol LaVern Cutcher of Clarksfield and Crystal Kay Moore of Beallsville, OH. She was preceded in death by her step father, Kenneth Campbell; brothers, Charles L., William E. and Roger L. Oney; and sisters, Christine M. Gemmel and Phyllis L. King. Friends may call 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2007 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London, where funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2007.
