Janet R. Fisk, age 69, of Polk, died Wednesday, February 6 at the Cleveland Clinic following an extended illness. She was born May 4, 1938 in Lizemores, West Virginia and had lived in Polk since 1994. She was a former resident of Wakeman, having lived there from 1970 to 1994. She was a homemaker who enjoyed creating dried flower and wreath arrangements in her spare time. She also enjoyed reading and genealogy. Janet was a member of the Ashland Trinity Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Chester; three daughters, Rene Dobias of Vermillion, Sonia Dobias of Greenwich, Christina Walczak of Vermillion; a son, David of Sullivan; three sisters, Marie Johnston of Adonijah, West Virginia, Doris Summers and Evelyn Mitchell, both of Lizemores, West Virginia; a brother, Ralph, also of Lizemores; 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Judith Lynn; her parents, Esmond and Maggie Morris; 4 brothers, Norman, Edward, Dale, and Merle Morris.
Friends will be received on Monday, February 11 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington from 12 pm until the time of funeral service at 2 pm with Pastor John Bouquet officiating. Burial will follow at Wakeman Cemetery.
