Janet Sue Lavigne, 67, of Norwalk, Ohio, died unexpectedly on October 11, 2023.  She was born on August 8, 1956, in Norwalk, Ohio, to the late Roger and Helen (Cole) Lavigne.  She was a lifelong area resident, graduating from Norwalk High School and EHOVE in 1974.

Janet was proud of her family, she loved following her grandchildren's extracurricular activities and enjoyed fishing, and BINGO.  She loved animals, especially horses and was active at one time in 4-H.

Janet was an auxiliary member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, the Norwalk VFW and Norwalk Eagles Club.  Although she was technically retired, she was currently working at Wendy's in Willard and Arby's in Norwalk.

Survivors include her children, Timothy (Marcy) Lavigne, Tonya (Gary) Minich and Andy Lavigne; grandchildren, Paaly, Andrew, Barrett, Jameson, Cole, and Cade; great grandchildren, James, Jacqueline, Jeremy, Ava, and Asher; brother, Roger E. Lavigne; niece and nephew, Rhonda and Randal Adkins; and grand dog, "Brutus".

Friends and family are invited to a visitation for Janet on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 4-7 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, where her funeral service will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023, beginning at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ann Marshall officiating.
