Janet M. Brendlinger Pinkerton, 84, of Wellington, died Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain after a lengthy illness. Janet was born in Alliance on February 27, 1925 to the late Lloyd and Edna (nee Brady) Barner. She lived in Wellington for many years, working at Rockwell Industries and later for Whirlaway Corporation. Janet is survived by her good friends and caretakers, Chris and Don Smith. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald 'Pete' Brendlinger and James Pinkerton of Alabama. She was also preceded in death by two sisters. Burial will take place at Alliance City Cemetery at a later date.
