Janice Lee Warner, of Norwalk, Ohio passed away on March 26, 2019 at Gaymont Nursing Center in Norwalk. She was 80. Janice was born on September 14, 1938 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Gertrude (nee Sheets) Vance. She graduated from Jackson High School in 1956.
Janice was a tour guide at the Thomas Edison museum in Milan. She retired from AAA where she had been a travel agent for over 25 years.
Janice cherished her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved a successful trip to Goodwill, could whip up a delicious peanut butter pie, and was a voracious reader. Her flower garden was her pride and joy.
Janice is survived by her children, David M (Allene) Warner, Trudi A Warner, Jodi L Taggert and Megyn J Smith; daughter in law, Rhonda Wise; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret "Peggy" (Sonny) Morgan and Esther (Dean) Tracey, numerous nieces and nephews and lifelong friend Bobbie Kellett.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Theodore Warner; sister, Elizabeth Christopher and great grandson Royce Mayle.
Friends may call on Friday, March 29, 2019, from 4 pm until 5 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. A service will be held at 5 pm at the same location with Pastor Bob Hudberg officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
