IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jason Keith
Floyd
May 24, 1973 – June 28, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason Floyd, who departed from this world on Wednesday, June 28th.
Born on May 24th 1973, Jason was the beloved son of James Keith Floyd (Lora) and Patricia (nee Cole) Floyd. Growing up, he shared a special bond with his brother, Jeff, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Jason's family was the cornerstone of his life, and he deeply valued the love and support they provided.
Jason was a proud father, devoted brother, cherished son, loving grandfather, and loyal to his beloved companion Cindy. He leaves behind a legacy of familyhood, dignity, determination, and generosity.
As a father, Jason was the pillar of strength and perseverance to his children: Michael Floyd, Shelbi Shreve, Jordyn (John) Pigman, Tyler Floyd, Hannah Floyd, and Allysa Floyd. He took great pride in their resilience and watching them thrive. His children will forever treasure the wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love he poured out.
He also found great joy in being a grandfather to his adored grandchildren: Finley Floyd, Parker Floyd, Rylie Floyd, and Dawson Pigman. He looked forward to showering them with affection and love. He leaves behind a lasting imprint on their lives, and they will always carry his spirit with them.
As a highly respected man of deep dignity, Jason was known for his unwavering sense of self-respect. He faced life's challenges head on, with a determined spirit to face any adversity. His strong will and personality served as an inspiration to all who knew him.
Jason possessed a fierce stubbornness, and although it may have caused spirited debates, it showcased his conviction in all he held dear which was hard not to appreciate.
Arguably one of the most prominent parts of Jason was his compassionate and selfless nature. A true giver at heart. He found so much joy in extending kindness to those fortunate enough to have known him.
As we mourn the loss of Jason Floyd, let us remember the profound impact he had on our lives. Through his sarcasm, over the top pranks, infectious spirit, unending generosity, and strong-willed mind, he taught us all valuable lessons about how to live a full life.
Let his memory serve as a guiding light reminding us to love fiercely, live freely, and give generously to others.
He will be deeply missed, but will live on forever in our hearts. May your spirit dwell peacefully in heaven, Jason, until we see you again.
