Jean (Leach) Harlan, 88, of New London, died Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at the Laurels of New London. Born in Hartlepool, England to the late Susanna (nee Charles) and Robert Leach, Jean moved to the United States in her late teen years. She worked at Kent Sporting Goods for many years. Jean's favorite hobby was crocheting.

She is survived by her sons, David L. Harlan, and his wife, Gayle, of New London, Richard T. Harlan, of Isle St. George, and Robert E. Harlan, and his wife, Kathy, of New London; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Harlan; grandson, Jeremy T. Harlan; daughter-in-law, Deborah A. Harlan; and daughter, Jackie Harlan.
