Jean L. Speicher, 69, of Rochester, died Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at her residence unexpectedly.  She was born March 27, 1952, in Oberlin, to Betty (Wolfe) and Dale Winfield.  Jean was a 1970 graduate of New London High School.

After many years, she retired as a cook for Oberlin College.  She was a member of the New London Eagles, American Legion Auxiliary, Rochester Flares and homecoming committee.  Jean loved to visit casinos, playing bingo, cooking, her cats and attending her children's and grandchildren's sporting events.

Jean is survived by her Husband of 51 years, James L. Speicher of Rochester; 5 children, Scott (Bobbi Jo) Speicher, Brian (Shelly) Speicher, Kevin (Jen) Speicher, Jill (Matt) Miller, and Bill (Dalee) Speicher; 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, and sister, Lois (Ronald) Baker of Rochester.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
