Jeff S. Marsh, 67, of New London, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at UH Samaritan Hospital in Ashland, OH. He was born on June 21, 1957, to the late Ted and Jane (Weaver) Marsh.

Jeff was a graduate of New London High School, where he participated in basketball, baseball, and football. As a pitcher at New London, he recorded 24 strike outs in a game vs. Crestline after pitching 14 innings. He also recorded 5 no hit games in Legion Baseball. Jeff worked in construction his entire life before retiring in 2021.

Jeff enjoyed attending his nieces and nephews' sporting events and cheering them on in all of their endeavors. He was a huge fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, and Guardians. He always looked forward to family gatherings and special occasions. His presence at these events will be missed dearly by his family.

Jeff is survived by his siblings, Julie (Axel) Hoyer, Robin (Jennifer) Marsh; his special uncle, more like brother, Kevin (Kathy) Heileman; Nieces and Nephews, Brian (Lauren) Hoyer, Brett (Cari) Hoyer, Matt (Julie) Hoyer, Lauren (Justin) Toole, Colin (Emma) Marsh, and Jared (Lexi) Marsh; great-nieces and great-nephews, Garrett and Cameron Hoyer, Josie, Lainey, Ellie, and Hattie Hoyer, Julian and Landon Toole, Poppy Hoyer; and bonus nieces and nephews, Jessica, Brian, Gavin, Landon, and Alayna Foltz, Gabe, Missy, Grant, Grady, and Avery Heileman, Natalie, Brad and Bella Clark; aunts and many cousins.

Jeff was preceded in death by his loving parents, Jane and Ted Marsh, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Pierre and the staff at UH Samaritan of Ashland for the compassionate care that Jeff received.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made in Jeff's name can made out to the NLHS Athletic Department and or the New London Recreational Park. Per Jeff's wishes a private family burial will take place at Grove Street Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
