Jeffrey L. Myers

Jeffrey L. Myers, 69, of Wooster, passed away peacefully at his home on January 21, 2026. He was born on January 5, 1957, to the late Richard L. and JoAnn (Balderson) Myers. Jeff grew up in Norwalk and was a 1976 graduate of Norwalk High School.

Jeff will be remembered for his kind heart, generosity, and joyful spirit. He had a true zest for life and a special gift for making people smile. Over the years, Jeff worked as a dental lab technician, a printer alongside his brother Craig, and at the deli counter with his sister. No matter where he was, Jeff always found a way to make people laugh and feel good. He even brought joy to many as “Tipsy the Clown” in local parades.

Jeff is survived by his siblings, Michael (Julie) Myers, Craig (Cheryl) Myers, and Lori (John) Reed; and special friend, Mag Armor.

In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his daughter, Lesha Myers, in 2011; and sister, Nancy Claxton.

In keeping with Jeff’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private burial will be held at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jeff’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
