Jemall Chad Hawkins was born November 12, 1972 to Cooper & Connie Hawkins in Norwalk, Ohio. He passed away December 22, 2019 in Akron, Ohio.

Jemall was a 1992 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and attended Akron University. He worked several years at Akron General as a Dietary Specialist.  He was a member of the Trailblazer traveling baseball team. He played with Ken Griffey Jr. and Pete Rose's son along with his best friend Walter Butler. Jemall held the state record in the 4x4 100 meter and still holds numerous records at Crestview High School. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, cooking and sports.

He has 4 children, Marleigh Pratt of Vermilion, Ohio, Corey Pratt of Vermilion, Ohio, Taylor Hawkins of Akron, Ohio, and Dominick Grubbs of Akron, Ohio, Siblings, Michael Randleman of New London, Darren Randleman of New London, Stephanie Randleman of Elyria and Suma Mullins of New London.  Jemall was proceeded in death by his wife Tracy Hawkins, and his maternal and paternal grandparent. Jemall will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
