EASTMAN FUNERAL HOME 419-929-3781 Jennirose M. (Marett) Dunn, age 97, of New London, died Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Firelands in New London. Mrs. Dunn was born March 21, 1910 in New London, daughter of the late, John & Mayme (Andrews) O'Hara. She was a life long resident of New London, graduating in 1928 from New London High School. She received her Bachelors of Education from Notre Dame College in Cleveland and taught elementary education for 27 years. She taught for the New London and Monroeville Schools. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in New London, the Ohio Education Association and the Huron County Retired Teachers. Mrs. Dunn is survived by a son, John (Ann) Marett of Milan; 6 grandsons; and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Cecil Marett; 2nd husband, William Dunn; a daughter, Mary Ann Emerson; a sister, Virginia Greene; and a brother, Gerald O'Hara. Friends may call Sunday, June 24, 2007 from 5 ' 8 p.m. where the Rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m. at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St., New London. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 25 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 18 Park Ave., New London, with Rev. Robert Haas officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in New London Memorials may be made to the Cecil & Jennirose Marett Memorial Scholarship fund for New London High School in care of the funeral home.
