Jerry Bohland, of Nova, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly August 5, 2016. In his 67 years he touched the lives of many. He was born February 25, 1949, to Andrew Bohland and Anna Smith Bohland as a twin (15 minutes apart from his brother Terry) in New London, Ohio. He served in the US Army Reserve and had worked various jobs throughout his lifetime. Some of his most treasured working days were the years he had spent with his brothers and father in the family well drilling business. He loved to play the guitar and banjo, was an avid wood crafter, and had various other hobbies. His cursive handwriting was something of beauty. He was a handyman and jack of all trades. He is survived by his children, Jerry A. (Kelly) Bohland and Misty A. (Erin) Bohland; grandchildren, Brandon A. Bohland and Kaylin Marie Bohland; brothers, (Twin) Terry (Peggy) Bohland, Lee Bohland, Phillip (Jeanette) Bohland, Randy Bohland and Eric Bohland; sisters, Phyllis (Bob) Bohland Roerig, Sandy (Scott) Bohland Lamoreaux. Also surviving are a multitude of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by many including his parents, Andrew Bohland and Anna Smith Bohland; his brother, Dale Bohland; sister, Marie Bohland Delosh and his granddaughter, Samantha Nicole Bohland. Calling hours will be August 11, 2016 from 12-2 pm and 5-7 pm at Eastman Funeral Home in New London, Ohio. The funeral service will be August 12th at 11 am with burial to follow in Nova Cemetery.
