Jerry Lee Lowery Sr., 79, of Willard, died on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Ohio Health Mansfield.  He was born June 6, 1940 in Savannah, OH to the late John and Esther (Henry) Lowery.  Jerry was a graduate of Greenwich High School, class of 1958 and veteran of the US Army, stationed in Korea.  He also attended barber school in Toledo and barbered as well as was a CNC operator/machinist retiring from Shafer Valve.   Jerry enjoyed gardening, cutting and splitting wood, fishing, spending time with his grandchildren and traveling with lifelong friends Roger and Janet Hamer of Huron.

Jerry is survived by his wife: Bonita Ann (Henry) Lowery whom he married November 24, 1962, four sons: Jerry (Erlinda) Lowery of Columbus, Matt (Debra) Lowery of Waterford, Dustin (Tina) Lowery of Plymouth and Nathan (Jenny) Lowery of Mansfield. 5 grandchildren: Hannah (Averyl) Lowery-Basolo of Arden, NC, Anna (Chris) Lowery of Columbus, Nadine Lowery of Athens, Olivia Lowery of Plymouth,  and Lane Lowery of Mansfield, 2 step grandchildren: Jake Napier of Millersburg and Kade Close of Mansfield, sister: Kathy (Gene) Hamlin of Norwalk, and in-laws: Marcy Lowery and Dick Persky, both of Greenwich.  He was preceded in death by sisters: Marge Persky and Judy (Dick) Runkle and brothers: Jack Lowery and Jim (Diane) Lowery.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 11am -12pm at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St. Greenwich, OH 44837 where the service will begin at 12pm.  Burial will follow at Edwards Grove Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Lifepoint Church, 260 Riggs St., Plymouth, OH 44865.  Online condolences may be shared at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
