Jessica A. Khaledi

Jessica A. Khaledi, 48, of Norwalk, passed away on May 5, 2026, at Firelands Regional Medical Center. She was born on December 29, 1977, to John Frederick Carl Speer III and Becky Lorcher.

Jessica was a lifelong Norwalk resident and a 1996 graduate of Norwalk High School. She went on to attend The Ohio State University, earning her degree from the Fisher College of Business in 2001. She built a successful career with Sobi, where she served as the Senior Marketing Director, a role she took great pride in.

Jessica was deeply committed to her community, generously giving her time to the Reach Our Youth mentor program and the Huron County Humane Society. She also enjoyed staying active through CrossFit at Little City Fitness.

A devoted sports fan, Jessica rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on the Buckeyes or the Browns. She also held a well-known and unwavering dislike for Michigan, a fact that she would appreciate being put into print.

She is survived by her mother, Becky Lorcher; her life partner, Dominic Dowell and his son, Alex Dowell; her daughter, Kendall Lauren Khaledi and her father Kayvon Khaledi; her sister, Jennifer and her husband Rich DePhillips; and many aunts, uncles, cousins; and her two dogs, Roxy and Winnie. 

She was preceded in passing by her father, John Frederick Carl Speer III; and step-father, William James Lorcher.

In keeping with Jessica’s wishes she will be cremated. There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made in Jessica’s name can be made out to the Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Ave., and or Reach Our Youth, 2 East Main St., Room 101, Norwalk, OH 44857.
