Joellen Martin Lomonaco, age 79, died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Hillside Acres in Willard. She was born April 9, 1928 in Weeksbury, Kentucky, daughter of the late, Carl & Mable Straughn Corbin. She moved to New London in 1949 to Rockport, TX in 1994 , back to the New London area in 2004 and had been at Hillside Acres for the past 3 years. Joellen was a homemaker and had worked at the former Fannie Farmer Candy Co. of Norwalk and the former C.E. Ward Co. of New London. She had also worked at Kent Sporting Goods of New London. She is survived by her children, Marilyn (Stan) Franklin of New London, Sandy (David) Gross and Sue (Bob) Mott all of Las Vegas, Annette Martin of New London, Margaret (Kurt) Wargo of Nova, Kim (Ed) Sines of New London, Kenny (Nancy) Martin of Brookesmith, TX, Dave Martin of Ashland and Hallard (Missy) Martin of Ocala, FL; 16 grandchildren, 26 Great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter; 1 sister, Marty Garcia of FL; 1 brother, Johny Corbin of GA. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, William 'Mato' Martin in 1993; 2nd husband, Vincent Lomonaco in 2005, her son, Tommy Martin in 1989, 3 sisters, Mary Marrett, Rose Anne May, Robin Gardner, and her brother, David Corbin. Friends may call from 2 ' 4 p.m. and 6 ' 8 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2008 at the Eastman Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2 with Ed Hamilton officiating.
