Joan Rosalie Trembley, age 92, of Post Falls, Idaho, went to be with her Savior on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born September 20, 1931, in Emporia, Kansas, to the late Glenn K. and Hazel (Hamilton) Hamer, she graduated from Pharr High School in Pharr, Texas and would later live in Norwalk, Ohio for many years.

Joan was a member of the New London Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, and, above all, spending time with her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the lights of her life and she cherished the time she spent with each of them.

Survivors include her children, Chris (Trembley) Gariss of Post Falls, ID, Jim Trembley of Silverdale, WA, and Brad Trembley of Snowflake, AZ; her children's spouses, Ron Gariss of Post Falls, ID, Marcia Trembley of Silverdale, WA; Debbie Young-Trembley of Dover, OH; Kim Trembley of Poulsbo, WA, and Faith Trembley of Snowflake, AZ; fifteen grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Trembley; sons, Dan Trembley and Tim Trembley, as well as a stillborn son, Randy Trembley; and siblings, Joyce Cannon, David Hamer, and Clyde Hamer.

A graveside service for Joan will be held at the Grove St. Cemetery in New London, Ohio on Saturday, February 10, 2024 beginning at 10:00 a.m. The graveside service will be followed by a memorial service at the First Baptist Church of New London beginning at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Jerry Shirley officiating. The Eastman Funeral Home of New London is honored to assist the family with their arrangements.
