Joan M. Conaway, 64, of North Fairfield passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2020 at Toledo Hospital. She was born May 18, 1956 in Paisley, Scotland to Anna and John Jenkins.

She enjoyed being outdoors soaking up the sun, especially swimming and working as a lifeguard. Joan loved to spend time with her family, and her greatest joy in life was being able to help others.

In addition to her parents, Joan is survived by her husband, Robert Conaway; children, David Devlin of North Fairfield, Clare (Kevin Orr) Bacon of Paisley, Scotland, Lee Bacon of England, Allison Conaway of North Carolina, Anelise (Miles) Mull of Norwalk, Ohio, and Elizabeth (Thomas) Dysard of Toledo, Ohio; sister Angela Taylor of Scotland; and many grandchildren whom she adored and cherished.

Joan was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Jenkins.
