Joanne Cerilli, 86, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 7, 2020 at Fisher Titus Medical Center. She was born on April 2, 1934 to the late Lavinia (Bernola) and August Tomei.

She was a member at St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church in Norwalk, Ohio. Joanne enjoyed reading the newspaper, looking at magazines, and watching television. She loved spending time with her family.

Joanne is survived by her husband of 61 years, Angelo Cerilli, of Norwalk; children, Paul (Tammy) Cerilli, of Norwalk, and Oreste "Ernie" (Connie) Cerilli, of Dayton; her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy (Carl) Laface; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Joseph Tomei and Luigina Jean Tomei.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service at 11:00 a.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio 44857. Internment at St. Mary's Cemetery will follow the service. Guests are required to bring and wear a mask and follow all social distancing and mass gathering guidelines.  Visitors should also be prepared for the possibility of waiting outside once capacity is reached indoors until there is room to allow for proper social distancing. The service will be recorded and posted to the funeral home's website (www.walkereastmanheydingerfh.com) for the public and anyone unable to attend to view at their convenience in the afternoon.
