Joanne A. Welch, 87, lifelong resident of New London passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at her residence. She was born January 25, 1932 in New London, daughter of the late Charles and Edith (nee Twaddle) Farmer. Joanne was a graduate of New London High School and later worked for CE Ward in New London before becoming a homemaker. Joanne married Harold G. "Boomer" Welch and together they celebrated over 60 years of marriage until his passing in 2018. She is survived by their children, Donna Welch, Denise Welch, Douglas (Rosanne) Welch, Dorinda Sue Welch and Chris Welch; grandchildren, Cory Mullins, Faith Welch, Kylee Welch, Briana Welch, Joseph Welch, Raymond J. Delphia III; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Greyson, Lukas, Alexander and Kiaden. A private service was held at the Clarksfield Methodist Cemetery.
