John E. Bell

John E. Bell, 77, of Vermilion, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2026, at home. He was born in Dayton, Ohio and was a 1967 graduate of Rocky River High School.

An avid motorcycle enthusiast and Harley Davidson aficionado, John served his country as part of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from the heating and cooling industry.

John is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda (Hofacker) Bell; sons, Eric Bell, Ryan Bell, and Sean Coder; daughter, Tracey Ream; brothers, Thomas (Janis) Bell and Richard Bell; 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Ruth Bell, and son Brian Coder.

In keeping with John’s wishes, he will be cremated. A private family celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
