John Lewis Burrow Jr., age 76, of Norwalk died on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk. Born March 21, 1948, in Sandusky, he graduated from Sandusky High School in 1966. He then attended Bowling Green State University where he earned his bachelor's degree. John worked as an assistant store manager at various Sear's locations until his retirement.

An avid Ohio sports fan, John enjoyed cheering on the Buckeyes, Browns, Guardians, and Cavaliers. He liked to stay busy and enjoyed working on projects outdoors and, after his retirement, working part time at the Milan Library and Kroger's to keep himself occupied. Most important to John, however, was his family and he treasured the time that he spent with those he loved most.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Susan (Schaffer), whom he wed on September 16, 1983; children, John (Olivia) Burrow of Norwalk, and Jenna (Kevin) Bickerstaff of Fortson, GA; and granddaughter, Marie Grace Bickerstaff. John was a private man that loved deeply and will be missed by many friends and relatives left to cherish his memory.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Clara (Perry) Burrow Sr.

A Memorial Mass will be held for John at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2024, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with Father Ron Schock presiding. Interment will follow immediately at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
