IN LOVING MEMORY OF
John David
Driscoll
January 7, 1944 – November 28, 2024
John D. Driscoll, 80, of Norwalk, Ohio, a lifelong resident of the area, died on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 7, 1944, in Bellevue, Ohio, to the late John J. and Marjorie (Drohen) Driscoll. He attended Bellevue High School.
John was an outgoing, social, and courageous man, who faced his many health struggles head on. He was proud and always reliably loyal to his family, cherishing time and opportunities to support them. He loved a good cup of coffee and could frequently be found at Bob Evans, or at Big Boppers, when at the lake, enjoying a warm cup. John loved trips to the lake, the lighthouse, and East Harbor. He was a sports enthusiast, cheering for the Browns and Guardians (Indians), and enjoyed watching NASCAR races.
John was a hard worker who had worked many different jobs but mostly was a self-employed commercial cleaning contractor. He was a member of St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church, and the Norwalk Knights of Columbus (Council 626).
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Linda (Hill) Driscoll; daughter, Melanie; son, Jason (Rachel); grandchildren, Craig, Taylor (Levi), and Jarett; and great granddaughter, Audra.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
