John F. Harper, 71, of North Olmsted, died on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Fairview Hospital.  He was born on December 20, 1947, the son of Kathryn (Haber) and Glenn N. Harper.

John enjoyed writing poetry, playing bingo and going bowling.  He loved listening to country music.  John spent his years working as an assistant manager at the Giant Tiger retail store.

John is survived by his brothers, Glenn A. Harper of Nova and Robert L. Harper of North Ridgeville.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London.  The family is requesting no flowers.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
