John Lloyd Henry Colley, 64, of Wellington, died on October 8, 2025 at his home. A lifelong Wellington resident, John was born in Elyria on June 10, 1961 to parents Charles and Shirley (Betts) Colley. He graduated from Black River High School.

A welder by trade, John worked in a variety of places throughout his career. He was a member of the Wellington Eagles #2051. John loved to spend his spare time on the golf course.

He is survived by his brother, Robert Colley, of Wellington. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas and Jay and his companion, Susan.
