John O. Maurer (68) of Greenwich, died Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at his residence.  He was born July 20, 1953, in Willard to the late Elizabeth (Urban) and Paul Maurer Sr.  John was a graduate of Willard High School, and a veteran of the US Army.  He was a Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed being outdoors, but he most cherished spending time with his family and was considered the "Best dad alive" and will be truly missed by his family.

John is survived by his 5 children: Michael, Kevin, Dusty and Shawn Maurer and Amber Cooper, 2 stepchildren: Matthew Mahl and Belinda Conley.  18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, 5 siblings: Chris Williams, Kathy Pate, Joe Maurer, Steve Maurer, and Jim Maurer.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Kathleen (Traub) Maurer and brother: Paul Maurer Jr.

Friends may call from 3-7 PM Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W.
