John Nebergall, 74, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at his home in New London. Born at the family home in Bellevue February 12, 1941, to the late John and Edna Nebergall. John graduated in 1959 from Savanna High School and lived in Richland and Huron County. John worked for Pioneer in Willard and Ford Motor Company in Sandusky for 31 years until his retirement. During his layoff at Ford he would enjoy working for Milky Way Farms and Gary Palm. To all that knew John he had a passion for Percheron draft horses, John and his team became well known at the pulls. He was a member of the North Central Pony Pulling Association and Buckey Horse Pulling Association. John also showed in many area parades. John will be dearly missed by his wife, Janet; children, Robert (Manda Leber) Nebergall of Greenwich and Loretta (Rich) Carr of Perrysville; grandchildren, Bryan Carr, Cordell Nebergall, Macy Carr and Brittany Nebergall; foster son, Randy Zacharias and many foster children. He is also survived by his siblings, Clara Willey, Jim (Nancy) Nebergall, Tom (Elaine) Nebergall, Sally (Jim) Eagle, Janet (Don) Nalley, Don (Karen) Nebergall, Dennis (Loa) Nebergall and Martha (John) Landis and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Nebergall; sister, Betty (Rodney) Williams and brother-in-law, Luie Willey. John's family will greet friends from 4-8 pm on Friday, July 24, 2015 at New London Alliance Church, 4625 State Route 162, New London, and on Saturday from 10 am until the time of services at 11 am with Pastor Bob Hudberg officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Adario Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be given to the family in care of Eastman Funeral Home.
