John P. Stevens, 81, of New London, OH died at home on Friday, November 1, 2024.  He was born on September 25, 1943, in Morgantown, WV.  He was one of seven children born to the late Charles B. and Janette Stevens.

John married Margaret (McKinney) Stevens on July 25, 1985; a lifelong area resident; New London is where they made their home.  John was a devoted employee of Diamond Products, where he worked for well over 20 years.  He was a member of the New London Church of Christ.  John was an avid motorcycle rider and was especially fond of his Harley.  He liked to work on vehicles.  In recent years he liked mowing his neighbor's lawns.

John is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; children, Teresa (Milford), Charlie, John and Kelly; grandchildren, Anthony (Sarah), Nick (Jocelyn), Alicia; and numerous great-grandchildren.
