Jon D. Waters, age 59, of Greenwich died, Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born December 28, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late Dudley M. and Marguerite H. (Ehdy) Waters. He had lived in Greenwich since 1994. Jon was a 1967 graduate of Bogan High School, Chicago, Ill. He had been a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve for 6 years. Jon had worked as a Data Processor at American National Can in Chicago, and had worked at Lake Park Industries in Greenwich until he retired in 1996 do to a disability. He attended the Shiloh Pentecostal Church of God. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Annette (Wireman) Waters; his sister, Jeanne Berman of Illinois; 2 cousins, Shirley Waters and Fran Layo both of Illinois; his mother and father in law, Wilma and Marvin Wireman of Greenwich, sister in law, Lisa (Mason) Wolfe of New London, brother in laws, Mark (Connie) Wireman of Greenwich and Matt (Melissa) Wireman of North Fairfield, several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich with Pastor Mark Wireman officiating. Memorials if desired may be given to the family in care of the funeral home.
