Jonathan Vaughn Holden Kistler, age 9, of New London died Wednesday, April 16th at Metro Health Medical Center. He was born May 29, 1998 in Norwalk to Hans and Misty (Stanley) Kistler. Jonathan was a loving child who loved to play sports and baseball on the summer leagues. He also enjoyed campfires with his friends. His goal was to grow up and be in the U.S. Army. Jonathan will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include Parents Hans and Misty (Stanley) Kistler of New London, 1 brother, Derek Kistler of New London, 1 sister, Bridget Kistler of New London, Maternal grandparents Richard and Kay Stanley of Wakeman, Paternal grandparents Eric and Carole Kistler of Sullivan, Maternal great grandparents, Argil and Betty Stanley of Wakeman, Paternal great grandfather Ray F. Kistler of Sullivan and Paternal great grandmother Colleen Kistler of Sandusky, Great grandfather and step great grandmother Lowell and Lois Marshall, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends and family call from 6 ' 9 p.m. on Friday, April 18th at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th at 11 a.m. at the New London Alliance Church, 4625 St Rte 162 West, New London, Ohio with Pastor Doug Lang officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Street Cemetery. Memorials if desired may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
