Joseph "Joe" Alex Buday, 38, of Norwalk, passed away on April 5, 2020 at Fisher Titus Medical Center.  He was born on October 12, 1981 in Norwalk to Irma (Leos) Buday and the late Joseph A. Buday.  Joe was a 2000 Norwalk High School and EHOVE graduate.

Friends and family will fondly remember "Joe/Alex" for his easy-going nature.  An ordained minister, he was kind-hearted, and liked to make people laugh.  He enjoyed being an uncle, fishing, going to car shows, working on cars, and tinkering with things.  Joe would often stop and help strangers who were stranded on the side of the road.  He worked at Menard's in Sandusky at the service desk.

Survivors include his mother, Irma (Leos) Buday; sister, Esmeralda Hall; brother, Brian L. Smith; nephews, D'Angelo Perkins; Kyler Hall and niece, Kiera Leos.

In addition to his late father, Joseph A. Buday, Joe was preceded in death by his aunt, Sylvia Pena Manders in 2015; maternal grandmother, Tomasa Pena Leos in 2003; maternal grandfather, Jose Cisneros Leos in 1991; paternal grandmother, Emma Cook Buday in 1996 and paternal grandfather, Joseph Phillip Buday in 1983.
