Joseph Jackson III, 67, of New London, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 22, 2022. He was born on December 3, 1954 to the late Beatrice (Dickens) and Joseph Jackson II. Joe graduated from New London High School and majored in printing at college. He made a 45-year career of driving semi-trucks.

Joe was a loving, caring, and funny father, brother, uncle, and poppa. His smile and laugh would light up the room. Joe loved his ice-cold red dog, hanging out with his friends and family, playing cards, and watching a good movie. When he wasn't driving truck, he loved to just kick back and chill. He also loved guitars, motorcycles, and corvettes.

He is survived by his children, Tiffany (Robert) Dailey and Joleena Jackson; step-children, Laila (Logan) Michowka, Joshua Bowling, Melissa Tenney, Matthew Goble and Erica Stacy; grandchildren, Travis, Arthur and Kayla; siblings, Bernice Jackson, Paul (Janice) Jackson, Solomon (Adrienne) Jackson, Lawrence (Caprice) Scruggs, Jennifer (Cameron) Pettway, Holly (Carl) Harris, and Robert Jackson; nieces and nephews, Terrell, Terri, Shafalika, Pamela, Lotosha, Adian, Dominique, Nurashia, Lauren, De/Von, Christopher, Khalil, Elijah, Kiyan, Miyah, Ian, Isiah, Carl Jr., Prince, Zavier, Camryn, Dallas, Andrew, Koby, Levi, Chadrick Jr., Amorii, Liam, and Alaya.

In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his siblings, Esther Jackson-Jennings and Frances Jackson.

His family will receive guests at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London, Ohio 44851 on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Joseph's family will hold a memorial gathering at the New London American Legion directly following the visitation.
