Joseph Frederick Smith, 83, of Wellington, died Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at his home. Born on April 19, 1934 in Avon to the late Sephrin and Clara (nee Linden) Smith, Joe lived in Huron for many years before moving to Wellington in 2010. Joe worked as a supervisor for Jakmas Plumbing and Burkhart Construction before retiring from Miller Construction in 1997. He was a proud member of the Labor Union. Survivors include his daughter, Rebecca (Roger) Reed, of Litchfield and grandson, Chad (Alecia) Reed. Joe was preceded in death by his parents and his 10 siblings.
