Joyce Elaine Sherwood, 83, life long resident of New London, died Friday, December 17, 2010 at home after a short illness. She was born on March 30, 1927 in New London. Joyce was Salutatorian of the New London High School class of 1945 and attended Baldwin Wallace. She worked as a printer from her home and enjoyed gardening. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Benjamin; sons, Stephen (Joan) Sherwood of Weston, Ohio and Sterling Sherwood of New London; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Helen Straub. There will be no services. Eastman Funeral Home, New London.
