EASTMAN FUNERAL HOME 419-929-3781 Juanita H. Farnwalt-Smith (nee Plough), age 91, of Willard, formerly of Greenwich, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at The Willows, Willard. She was born March 19, 1925 in Greenwich, daughter of the late Cleo and Rosella (Robson) Plough. Juanita had lived in Greenwich until 2005. Juanita and her husband, Ora Farnwalt owned and operated the Greenwich Hotel Restaurant for many years. She was a 4-H advisor for several years and was a member of the Huron County Ladies Posse. Juanita loved to bowl and did so until she was 90 years old. She enjoyed woodworking, crafts and loved to crochet. She is survived by her daughters, Jorja (James) Dawson of North Fairfield and Toni (Calvin) Swander of Arizona; her grandchildren, Juanita Lynn (Leonard) Myers, Jonathan (Brigette) Dawson, Melissa (Joe) Morrow, Tammy Backensto, Veronica (Shane) Kimberly and Lester (Stephanie) Eastman; 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; her sister, JoAnn "Pat" Fowler of Vermilion. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ora Farnwalt in 1981, her second husband, Claude Smith in 1999, her son, Michael in 1946, a brother and 3 sisters. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2016 until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich with Hospice Chaplain David Clarke officiating.
