Juanita G. Vargo

Juanita G. Vargo, 67, of Wellington, died Friday, September 18, 2026, at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital. She was born August 20, 1959, in Elyria to the late Betty Jo (Price) and Junior Clifton Woody. Juanita was a dialysis technician for the past 20 years with the Cleveland Clinic and ended her career as a lead dialysis technician.

She enjoyed quilting, reading, garage sales, and being a member of the Wellington Eagles. Juanita loved celebrating holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas. Helping people was what she cherished most, always putting others before her own needs.

Juanita is survived by her husband of 43 years, Kenneth Vargo, whom she married on October 29, 1983; siblings, Eric (Melinda) Woody of Elyria, Wanda Thompson of Elyria, and Ellen (Edward) Ewing of Elyria and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Sheila Woody and Arleen Brush.

Friends and family may call Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 11am until the time of the service at 1 pm at the Norton Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main Street, Wellington, Ohio 44090. Burial will follow at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
